Article Purpose
Learn how to turn on the Pocket UV-C Sanitizer by disabling the Safety Lock; enabling you to use the device to sanitize your personal items.

First Time Use
Step 1
Remove and discard the protective plastic and film on the front of Pocket UV-C Sanitizer.
Step 2
Read the warning label covering the UV-C LED on the opposite side.
Warning:
UV-C light can have harmful effects on the human body. Avoid direct skin exposure and do not look directly at the light.
Step 3
Once the warning label has been read & understood then the label should be removed; Pocket UV-C will not function properly if the warning label is affixed.
Locate the Safety Lock
The Pocket UV-C Sanitizer features a Safety Lock in the form of a hidden button. It is located at the bottom of the device.
Disable Safety Lock & Turn On
Step 1
Press the Safety Lock button once to activate the blue Power Indicator Light.*
*Blue Power Indicator Light not illuminating? You may need to charge your device.
Step 2
Point the UV-C LED at the object you wish to sanitize (and away from your skin and eyes). Press & hold the UV-C Power Button for 3-5 seconds or until the device beeps and the LED Display starts counting.
Step 3
The Pocket UV-C Sanitizer is now emitting UV-C light. Move slowly over the object you wish to sanitize, hovering for 5-10 seconds in one area at a time. For full sanitization instructions read this article.
Step 4
To pause or stop sanitizing: press the UV-C Power Button once*. To resume, repeat Step 2.
*The device will automatically shut off after 3 minutes of inactivity. See "How to Turn Off" for more information.
How To Turn Off
To turn off the Pocket UV-C Sanitizer press the Safety Lock Button once. The LED Display and all lights will turn off.
