Safe Usage While Sanitizing
Do not point UV-C LED at eyes or skin
Before you use the Pocket UV-C Sanitizer for the first time - we recommend first reading our “Safe Usage Guidelines.”
How to Sanitize Your Makeup Brush
This technique is not a substitute for 'washing' your makeup brushes, as it does not remove product residue (such as foundation). Ideal as supplementary sanitization tool between washes to kill extra bacteria.
Place your makeup brush on a flat surface such as a countertop.
Do not hold your makeup brush in your hand while sanitizing
Turn on Pocket UV-C Sanitizer (for assistance see How to Turn on & Off).
Point the UV-C LED at your makeup brush 1 to 3 cm away. Using the LED timer to count hold the purple light over your brush for 5 seconds.*
*For deeper disinfection to eliminate up to 99.9% germs: hold for up to 60 seconds in one place.
Repeat Step 3 until all sides* of your makeup brush have been exposed to the purple ray of UV-C light.
*Flip over the makeup brush when sanitizing the other side (never sanitize while holding the Sanitizer upside down).
